Team Earns UCDA Awards

The University and College Designers Association (UCDA) recently held their Design Awards Competition where they recognize the best design and creative work from educational institutions worldwide.

Florida Atlantic Research Communications team members Cammi Clark, Ph.D., Kasia Bytnar and Paige Arriola earned two UCDA awards. One for the for the Science in Seconds video series launched in the fall of 2023 which showcases the research happening across the colleges, both in the lab and out in the field. Each segment helps viewers connect with the scientists and better understand how the research is making a difference in the world. View all videos here.

The second award was for a Science Behind the Photo video, part of a series that takes a look at a photograph submitted for the Florida Atlantic’s Art of Science photography and videography contest and takes a deep dive into the science and research happening in that photograph.
