New Interim Dean for College of Nursing

Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing Emerita Professor Patricia Liehr, Ph.D., has agreed to serve as interim dean as the search for permanent leadership in the college continues, as Dean Safiya George begins her new role as president of the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI). In 2004, Dr. Liehr joined the College of Nursing as a professor and the first associate dean for nursing research and scholarship. She served in the associate dean role for a total of 12 years (2004-2014; 2018-2020), and was awarded emerita professor status upon retiring in 2020.
