Mission and Values
The Research Accounting Office supports and works collaboratively with the university to provide post award financial services for externally funded sponsored research and activities. We provide comprehensive support and expertise on fiscal management, adherence to federal regulations, timely and accurate reporting and improvements to reduce administrative burden. Our mission is to protect the university’s externally funded research portfolio while maintaining a strategic balance of service and support based on core values: compliance, courtesy, performance and efficiency.
The fiscal management of externally funded sponsored programs for contracts, grants, cooperative agreements and awards is a critical function of the university and includes these post award financial functions:
