Development committee

Education Reimagined:  Expansion of the Learning Assistant (LA) Model was selected in May 2021 as the university’s next Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). In preparation for the SACSCOC on-site visit scheduled for April 2-4, 2024, a QEP Development Committee was assembled to provide guidance and leadership in the development and implementation of this exciting new QEP.  Key stakeholders across all areas of the institution and community were invited to participate. Faculty governance nominated faculty from each of the academic colleges and the Library while students were selected for the various roles they play to represent a student voice. 

The QEP Development Team is co-chaired by the QEP co-leads: Dr. Brittanney Adelmann, Director of the Math Learning Center and the Learning Assistant (LA) Program and Dr. Jennifer Bebergal, Associate Dean, Academic Support and Student Learning. 

The first meeting of the committee was Monday, February 14, 1-3 p.m. The full committee is expected to meet twice per semester with smaller meetings of subcommittees as needed to focus on specific QEP needs.
