The Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) offers a nationally recognized credential for effective college instruction to instructors. Participants complete asynchronous online courses through Canvas with a short weekly time commitment. The modules address a wide range of evidence-based teaching practices demonstrated to promote student success by increasing student retention, strengthening belonging and achievement, and closing equity gaps by engaging, motivating, and supporting active learning. Some of the ACUE module topics covered in the certification include creating a supportive learning environment, promoting active learning, inspiring lifelong learning, and designing learner-centered curricula.
