Mini-Terms

Mini-terms are 5 or 8 week terms that run concurrently with the full semester.

Find mini-term course on the FAU Course Schedule by selecting any of the following under Part of Term.

First Half Term	8 weeks
Second Half Term	8 weeks
First 5 Week Term	5 weeks
Second 5 Week Term	5 weeks
Third 5 Week Term	5 weeks

* Full Term - Term 1 runs 16 weeks

When does the course start and end?

The course start and end dates are indicated in the column Meeting Times on the Searchable Schedule.

 

Can I register for mini-term and full-term classes in the same semester?

Yes, students can build their schedule with a combimation of mini-term and full term courses.
