Face Coverings Expected on All FAU Campuses
Thursday, Aug 19, 2021COVID-19 cases in Florida have increased in recent weeks, which appears to be due to the fast-moving spread of the Delta variant. The Florida State University System is in regular contact to help all state universities manage this very fluid situation.
To help FAU continue to operate as it should, and for the health and safety of our entire university community, everyone is expected to wear face coverings when inside our buildings, including in classrooms. Face coverings also should be worn when outside in large groups.
Further, I ask that everyone please get vaccinated. This effort is vital. We can move forward together if we work together to help stop the spread of this virus. Please CLICK HERE for information about the vaccines and HERE for information on how to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Thank you for your continued cooperation. I look forward to seeing everyone on campus soon.
