OIT Awards 4 Student Employees The Jack Hall Memorial Florida LambdaRail (FLR) Scholarship

This scholarship has been made available by the generosity of Florida LambdaRail (FLR) to memorialize Jack Hall, one of FLR's first employees and Chief Business Development Officers. Jack Hall also served as Chief Technology Officer for the Office of Information Technology at FAU from 2000-2004. The funds were distributed to FLR's Equity Partner Institutions to benefit those studying or working in IT, networking or cybersecurity fields. The first Florida Atlantic University Jack Hall Memorial Florida LambdaRail Scholarship for OIT student employees was established in 2024.

The scholarship was awarded by FAU’s Associate Provost and CIO Jason Ball to the following student employees (from left to right):
