WebEx Retirement

FAU will retire use of WebEx on June 30, 2023. The WebEx platform will no longer be available for use in meetings after this date. WebEx will also be removed from Canvas at the end of spring term, on May 8, 2023. Please make sure you have saved any important information or files before this date.

Zoom will still be available for virtual meetings and can be accessed within Canvas for your classes. Zoom offers several features to enhance your virtual meetings, including screen sharing, virtual background options, and recording capabilities. The Office Hours function will be available soon, providing an easy and convenient way for instructors to connect with their students.

Microsoft Teams is also available for virtual meetings and collaboration, with features such as real-time co-authoring, instant messaging, and audio and video calls.
