Dr. Jennifer W. Caceres, Senior Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions, Associate Professor of Medicine, has been elected to serve on the AAMC National Committee on Student Affairs (COSA). The committee's pivotal role involves the provision of expert guidance on issues central to the support and services for medical students. Furthermore, Dr. Caceres will extend her expertise as a member of the AAMC Student Survey Advisory Committee. Her commitment and dedication can be exemplified by her distinguished service last academic year serving as Chair of the Southern Group on Student Affairs Steering Committee for the AAMC, earning a commendation award for her exemplary service.

I am deeply honored by this appointment, it emphasizes our collective commitment to the growth, development, and success of our medical students. I look forward to championing their needs and aspirations at a national level.
