Dr. Jonathan Kahan graduated from Tel Aviv University and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Luke's Roosevelt Medical Center, Columbia University in New York, NY. He then graduated from Winthrop University Hospital in Long Island, NY. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, vascular interpretation, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT imaging. His areas of interest including hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, and obesity. He is currently on faculty for the FAU Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Delray Medical Center.

Dr. Habib specializes in cardiac care for advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies and pulmonary arterial hypertension. His expertise includes a wide variety of cardiology care and treatments including mechanical circulatory support, cardio-oncology, cardiomyopathy, cardiogenic shock and cardiac amyloidosis.
In addition, Dr. Habib specializes in advanced cardiac imaging and echocardiography, cardiopulmonary exercise testing and clinical research.
Dr. Habib is board-certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Habib completed an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at the University of Florida, Department of Medicine, in Jacksonville, and an Echocardiography Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Cardiovascular Institute, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Habib finished his internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University located in Columbus, OH. He graduated medical school from the Northeast Ohio Medical University, Rootstown, OH.

Dr. Eric Lieberman is a board-certified cardiologist practicing in Palm Beach County. He is committed to providing expert cardiac care with over 27 years of dedication to treating the South Florida community. He returned home to South Florida after completing his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, also serving as Chief Resident and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lieberman’s clinical interests include preventive cardiology, cardiac consultation, cardio-oncology, echocardiography, pacemaker evaluation and transesophageal echocardiography. He is ardent about practicing medicine as a cohesive team, alongside a dedicated group of doctors and nurses. In addition, he is committed to the growth and development of a cardiovascular research and teaching program working as a member of the core faculty of the Florida Atlantic University/Delray Medical Center Cardiology Fellowship. He has participated in numerous research trials and has published manuscripts in multiple journals and textbooks chapters. Dr. Lieberman is committed to the growth of cardiac education for his community serving as the Chairman of the Innovations in Cardiovascular Care Symposium, a CME program for physicians and nurses, developing a program that highlights the advances in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Lieberman is the National and Florida Medical Director for Tenet Health providing guidance and input on the development of the cardiovascular service line and monitoring quality outcomes. He is currently an Affiliate Associate Professor of Medicine at Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine/Florida Atlantic University and has previously served as a Voluntary Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, University of Miami School of Medicine and Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. In addition, he has served in medical leadership at Delray Medical Center for over 20 years including roles as Chairman of the Cardiovascular Committee, Chairman of the Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee and is currently the Vice President of the Medical Staff.

Dr. Jonathan Vafai is a noninvasive cardiologist. He has a busy clinical practice, attends on consult service, and organizes the echocardiography curriculum. He currently serves as chair of the Department of Cardiology at Delray Medical Center and he has been the medical director of the hospital’s echocardiography laboratory since 2012. Dr. Vafai’s clinical interests include cardio-oncology, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress testing.
Dr. Vafai is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the North Shore-LIJ Health System in Manhasset, NY, where he also served as chief fellow. Dr. Vafai is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.

Dr. Benjamin Ravaee is a noninvasive cardiologist with Tenet Florida Physician Services. He graduated medical school from the University of Illinois at Chicago and continued on to his internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also served as chief resident. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Case Western University Hospital in Cleveland, where he served as chief fellow.
Dr. Ravaee currently serves as medical director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Delray Medical Center. He has multiple areas of clinical interest, including general and preventive cardiology, and echocardiography. Dr. Ravaee has both experience and enthusiasm for working with graduate medical education, and has a special interest in working with the cardiology fellowship program.

Dr. Yoel Vivas completed his residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael, Yale University School of Medicine. He continued his training in cardiology at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Temple University Program in Pittsburgh, PA where he also served as chief fellow. He then completed his training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Lahey Clinic, Tufts University School of Medicine in Massachusetts.
Dr. Vivas is the founder of the Arrhythmia Center of South Florida and has been practicing clinical cardiac electrophysiology (CCEP) at Delray Medical Center since 2012. He is currently ABIM certified in CCEP, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, and cardiovascular diseases. He offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment of arrhythmias, including but not limited to ablation of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia. He also specializes in implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and devices to treat heart failure (cardiac resynchronization therapy). His clinical interests include advanced techniques for ablation of persistent atrial fibrillation, zero radiation technology procedures and physiologic pacing.
Dr. Vivas is the author of many scientific abstracts in the field of atrial fibrillation and continues to be involved in various clinical trials in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.
He is serving as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL since 2012, where he is actively involved in teaching the cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.

Dr. Heller graduated from Harvard Medical School, served as an intern at Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He went on to complete a post-doctoral cardiovascular research Fellowship at MGH in vascular biology, garnering grants from the NIH and American Heart Association. Dr. Heller returned home to New York to train in clinical cardiology at Columbia University Medical Center. He finished his post-graduate education at Columbia in collaboration with the Cardiovascular Research Foundation where he was chief interventional fellow and received advanced training in complex coronary, peripheral and structural heart interventions. Dr. Heller has authored numerous articles in well-respected peer-reviewed journals, written textbook chapters and participated in several clinical trials.
Dr. Heller moved his family down to Palm Beach County in 2011 and built a busy clinical and interventional cardiology practice. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the FAU Charles Schmidt College of Medicine. He has become fully integrated into the Structural Heart Program, Clinical Research Program and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Delray Medical Center. Dr. Heller’s main passions lie in complex coronary and structural heart interventions, clinical research and graduate medical education.

Dr. Shetty is an interventional cardiologist specializing in structural and interventional cardiology. Dr. Shetty specializes in the treatment of heart valve ailments via heart catheterization procedures. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in cardiac CT by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT) Board. In addition, Dr. Shetty specializes in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) – mitral and tricuspid valve repair, transcatheter left atrial appendage occlusion, transcatheter patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, complex percutaneous coronary intervention and percutaneous mechanical circulatory support.
Dr. Shetty completed fellowships in structural heart, peripheral vascular and complex coronary interventions from Swedish Medical Center – Cherry Hill Campus, Seattle, in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology from Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA, and venous thromboembolism from Brigham & Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School, located in Boston, MA. Dr. Shetty also completed an internal medicine residency at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and medical school at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.
Dedicated to the advancement of interventional cardiology and structural heart disease care, Dr. Shetty has experience in research projects as principle investigator and sub-investigator in numerous research trials.
