Faculty Assembly Graduate Programs Committee

The College of Medicine Graduate Programs Committee is responsible for various tasks related to overseeing and enhancing the graduate programs within the College of Medicine. Comprising members from Biomedical Science and Clinical Science Departments, the committee ensures representation and eligibility based on active involvement in graduate programs. The committee reviews and reports on recommended changes to graduate programs, including new courses, encouraging new course development and offering guidance to faculty. They establish policies and procedures concerning academic standards, admissions, and other program-related matters. Additionally, the committee selects a representative for the Integrative Biology Admissions Committee and evaluates applicants for the Master's Program in Biomedical Science, recommending students for awards like Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships. They also evaluate graduate student petitions and represent the College on the University Graduate Council.
