Faculty Assembly Executive Committee

The Faculty Assembly Executive Committee (FAX Committee) plays a crucial role in the governance structure of the Faculty Assembly. Comprising the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary of the Faculty Assembly, and four College representatives to the University Faculty Senate, this committee holds a significant responsibility. The FAX Committee is responsible for setting the agenda for Faculty Assembly meetings, managing College-wide elections, conveying faculty views and concerns to the Dean, and serving as an advisory body to the Faculty Assembly in shaping the College's short and long-term plans and policies. The Chair and the Secretary of the Faculty Assembly also serve as the Chair and Secretary for this Committee. With a quorum of four members, the FAX Committee meets regularly, ensuring effective communication between faculty and administration, and holds meetings with the Dean when necessary to address important matters.
