WeLead: Community Engagement Conference is a one-day experience supporting the attendees' ability to become changemakers by encouraging collaborative leadership strategies within the Greater FAU community. The conference activities will include the MLK Day of Service community project, impactful leadership development sessions, and close with a community partners engagement lunch. Students may register at link below.
- Refine their leadership skills and strategies to facilitate collective action among others
- Share ideas and best practices related to group and project management
- Engage in civil discourse about issues facing the FAU community and surround areas
- Network and coalition build with other individuals to serve their common purpose

Keynote: State Representative Jervonte Edmonds
Bio: Jervonte “Tae” Edmonds, is a Florida State Representative for District 88 and Founder and CEO of Suits For Seniors, Inc., the fastest-growing youth preparedness and exposure program in the country. A proud alumnus of Florida Atlantic University, he holds a B.S. degree in Political Science, and is an acclaimed Public Speaker, successful Entrepreneur, inspiring Educator, prolific Author, and compassionate Philanthropist, embodying the spirit of innovation and service.
