Registration for Legacy 61: The New Student Experience is now live!
Degree-seeking first-year students admitted for Fall 2024 are eligible to attend.

Legacy 61 is a retreat for new students only. Degree-seeking first-year students admitted for the Fall 2024 semester are eligible to attend. Parents and family members are not able to attend Legacy 61. We encourage parents and family members to attend our annual Parent & Family Weekend, which takes place during the Fall semester.
Legacy 61: The New Student Experience will be hosted on August 11 - 13, 2024.
Legacy 61 will be hosted on the Boca Raton Campus of Florida Atlantic. Transportation is included in the cost of registration and will be provided for all campers to and from off campus facilities.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration includes travel, lodging, meals, activities, and giveaways throughout the duration of Legacy 61. Registered attendees seeking to make a change must contact leadandserve@fau.edu no later than two weeks before the date of the event per the registration policies.

Those who do not have on campus housing will be provided with a room in a nearby hotel. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel.
If you need assistance to move in early, please make personal arrangements to do so on August 11 from 10 am - Noon. Housing will already be made aware of who will be moving in early from the list of registrants. Should your guests stay on campus after August 11 at Noon, there will be no time within the Legacy 61 program to engage with them until August 13 at 1:30 pm.
For the program, you will need the following items:
- Bathing Suit
- Appropriate Lounge wear/Active wear
- Sweater/jacket
- Comfortable shoes
- Change of clothing
- Hat (optional)
- Personal hygiene items
- Water bottle
- An amazing attitude!
Those staying within the hotel should bring these additional items:
- Sleepwear
- Personal hygiene items
- Other items to make your stay more comfortable
