International students on student visas must be registered full-time as arranged by the Office of International Services and the student services advisor. Full-time study for graduate (masters/PhD) students is designated as 9 units (credit hours) each fall and spring semester; and 12 units for undergraduate students (unless you have an approved Reduced Course Load Authorization).
International students who are not formally registered in a full course of study may be in violation of immigration laws. Please consult the office of International Services if you have questions related to registration requirements.
Students in Graduate or Undergraduate programs are eligible to take no more but 3 credit hours per semester fully on line. Fully on line programs may be only pursued from abroad. Students enrolled in full on line programs are not eligible for F1 International Student status.
