I am very glad I got into the IEI program before getting my MBA in the USA. This program helped me a lot. And it is not just about learning English. Of course, my English level has significantly improved, making my studies much easier. I understand everything professors say during lectures, and I can easily read educational material and speak English without problems during classes. One of the most valuable knowledge I learned from the IEI was that I understand the education system in the United States in general and in the FAU in particular. I learned how to make presentations and write essays and research papers. The IEI was an important preparatory process for me, in which my teachers guided me through all the stages that I had to go through at the university.

A perfect example of how IEI prepared me – I was the first student in my MBA course to make a presentation in front of the whole class. Moreover, in my course of 20 people, only 2 are international students, and only I volunteered for this. My professor was impressed that I, as a non-native speaker, agreed to do it first and how well I did it. And not only the professor but all my classmates too. I am wholly indebted to the course at the IEI; without it, I would never have decided to do this. But after the IEI courses, I was ready for presentations and knew I could. And I did! There is a research paper ahead, but it does not frighten me because I already know how to write it. IEI gave me knowledge, support, and confidence and helped me adapt to a new country. And last but not least, I met amazing people and found true friends! .
