The Importance of Dusting

FAU Housekeeping staff takes care of all common spaces in the Residence Halls and Apartments. Residents are expected to keep their rooms/suites clean throughout the year.

One of the main steps in keeping your space clean is dusting.

We recommend using a vacuum with a soft brush attachment or a lightly moistened cloth. If you have a vacuum, or a Swiffer mop, make sure to get into the corners of the rooms and under the bed as dust loves to hide there.

The vents are located in different areas depending on which residential facility you are in. If you are not sure where your vent is located, you can ask the front desk and they can let you know.
