Our housing program is on the rise, and we are looking for colleagues who want to innovate and help reimagine our work to serve students and the FAU community better. We seek student affairs educators interested in contributing to a housing program that values an outcomes-based approach to student learning and development.
Residential Education Hall Coordinators (HC)
The Residential Education Hall Coordinator is a full-time master level professional staff member. Who is responsible for the operation of a residential community of 500-700 residents to which they are assigned. The Residential Education Hall Coordinator is charged with shaping the experiences, environment, and student success of residential students by providing services and resources through the Department of Housing and Residential Education’s Residential Curriculum (The Atlantic Experience Curriculum). This position supervises 8-14 Resident Assistants.
Residential Education Operations Coordinators (OC)
The Residential Education Operation Coordinator is a full-time Bachelor-level professional staff member who is responsible for occupancy management, coordinating facilities, and maintaining key control/inventory for two residential facilities of 600 residents. The Residential Education Operation Coordinator is charged with shaping the experiences, environment, and student success of residential students by providing services and resources through the Department of Housing and Residential Education’s Residential Curriculum (The Atlantic Experience Curriculum). This position supervises 9-18 Front Desk Staff.
Assistant Directors for Residential Education
This position provides leadership, direction, and supervision for the residence facilities in a neighborhood. They are the direct supervisors of HCs and OCs. Additionally some of our Assistant Directors manage our recruitment, training, academic initiatives, and residential student conduct.
