Madison McShane

Bio:
Madison McShane serves as the Director for Education Abroad, and oversees the development and programming of short and long-term study abroad opportunities that allow undergraduate and graduate students to travel the world while earning academic credit toward the completion of their degree. In addition, Madison provides oversight of the exchange partnerships, which allow us to welcome international exchange students to FAU. Madison heads the FAU Global Travel Safety & Security Committee as well as manages the travel roster for study abroad students and university related student travel. Through collaboration with students, staff, faculty, and the local and global community, Madison supports the Universities internationalization initiatives and passionately engages students in opportunities to become culturally competent leaders.
Madison is a two-time alum of FAU! She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Communication and a Master’s degree in Multicultural Education. In 2013, Madison joined FAU University Advising Services as an Academic Advisor and served as the liaison for International Services and Education Abroad. In 2015 she joined the Education Abroad team as Assistant Director and assumed the role of Director in 2019.
