The Advanced Scientific Training Laboratory in Jupiter enhances education and fosters research in the life sciences while building partnerships with local research institutes, including the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience and the Scripps Research Institute both located on FAU's Jupiter campus, and the rapidly expanding life science business corridor in Palm Beach County and South Florida. FAST Labs works closely with professional partners to prepare students, emerging scientists, and industry workers in cutting-edge research technologies and skills of high demand in STEM careers through advanced technical training and workshops, internship opportunities, and job placement programs with local life science companies.
