The painting is one of many works in an on-going series which present the viewer a world that is physically provocative, complex in character and unapologetically beautiful. Its execution is related to the artist’s training as a printmaker and the layering processes inherent in digital imaging. Each layer builds upon the past through the disruption or clarification of its structure, employing a level of gamesmanship and strategy toward the creation of a work, which is consistent only with itself.
