CLOUD AND NETWORK drives
Cloud Drives
There are 2 options for online cloud storage, OneDrive and GoogleDrive. Both are available, and accessed using your FAU account. Due to Googles recent policy changes, we advise to utilize OneDrive.
OneDrive:
5TB drive space. See the link below for detailed information and instructions:
Google Drive:
5GB of drive space across all Google services. See the link below for detailed information and instructions:
Network Drives
Anytime you are using a Virtual Desktop (VMWare) or a computer connect to the FAU network, you will have access to "Network locations" in file explorer/finder. The drives you will see are:

H: J: K: Drives – These are for homework submissions. DO NOT perform live work on files here. When you are ready to submit work, copy your files to this folder. Your instructor can see your files here.
- Access to these drives is based on registering for certain classes. After registering for classes, drives will be created.
- Z: Drive – This is personal space provided by the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Only you can access these files.
- M: Drive – This is personal space provided by FAU. There is only 500MB of storage, and only you can access these files.
