NEXTERA Wind Turbine Anomaly Detection

Overview

Our project aims seeks to utilize data from wind turbines in order to detect potential malfunctions within the turbine components. Using machine learning to analyze our datasets, our program can find problematic turbines and alert the engineers at NextEra when the anomalous event took place. 

Community Benefit

Our project will allow engineers at NextEra to know find defective components before they put a strain on other parts. This will help with reducing unexpected downtimes for the turbines and help with saving money by avoiding costly repairs on additional components damaged by the faulty part not running properly.
