Battlefield Optimization for Weapon System Engagement Resiliency (BOWSER)

Project 22

Overview

This project uses optimization algorithms for Advanced Battle Management Aids against drone swarms, safeguarding infrastructure. Using models of swarm behavior and available resources, it assesses ABMA performance in defense strategies. The aim: enhance the protection of critical infrastructure.

Community Benefit

Multiple stakeholders stand to benefit from an effective solution. Governments benefit by ensuring the security of their infrastructure, enhancing national defense capabilities, and safeguarding against potential threats to public safety. Industries reliant on critical infrastructure, such as energy, transportation, and telecommunications, benefit from uninterrupted operations, preventing costly disruptions and ensuring the continuity of services. Additionally, the general public benefits from increased safety and reliability of essential services integral to daily life.
