Boca Raton Building Department (Green Ladder)

Overview

The objective of the project is to rebuild the Boca Raton Building Department for the City of Boca Raton. The project includes constructing a new 25,000 square foot office building to house all the building department functions, while ensuring the building department remains operational during construction. Additionally, the project requires a plan for parking to accommodate staff, visitors, and company vehicles. A stormwater management plan is also needed to retain all stormwater for on-site reuse, and the site plan should include exterior landscaping and lighting for safety, aesthetics, and security. Finally, a minimum LEED Gold certification must be obtained for the building.

Community Benefit

Green Ladder Engineering designed the new Boca Raton Building Department with sustainability and future expansion incorporated into its design that will allow the city of Boca Raton to continue to serve the public far into the future.
