Waste Removal Device for Water

Abstract
The mission for this project is to create an efficient way to clean large bodies of water with accumulated waste near the surface. This is done using a pump located at the bottom of a bin shaped device that draws and circulates the water through the top, and captures the waste that sits afloat on the surface of the water. The waste is then collectedin a catch bag located just above the pump and as the pumped water is returned, the waste remains in the catch bag until it is manually removed.
