Training Simulation Haptic/Force Feedback

Abstract
Our project provides a seamless interface between virtual reality and physical feedback. To accomplish this, we integrated a force/haptic feedback glove with a virtual reality headset. As a user interacts with objects in the virtual reality simulation, the integrated glove provides accurate force/haptic feedback to the user. The simulations we developed focus on ship repair and maintenance for the US Navy. Community Benefit: Improved interaction and realism during virtual reality training will help better prepare our Navy for future missions.
