MLS Soccer practice Facility at Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport

Abstract

Green Speed Construction (G.S.C) is responsible for the design of a 32,000 sq. ft. training facility that includes a weight room, locker rooms, medical/rehab facilities, classrooms, and a dining hall); a community center that includes park space, jogging/walking trail, destination playground; a dog park; and a multi-sport field for public use. The proposed facilities will replace the existing site of Lockhart and Fort Lauderdale Stadiums. The project site is ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant, FAA compliant, and abides by all City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County codes. Our design also includes a stormwater management plan created to retain all stormwater on-site. The design of the training facility includes the foundations, structural design, water/ sewer components, and the HVAC system design.
