Building the Image Module for the Creation Content Pipeline
Overview
The Image Module for the Content Creation Pipeline is a key part of the United States Navy's effort to streamline the processing of its extensive visual training materials and resources. Our team has developed an advanced system that seamlessly extracts images from a message broker system, classifies them using a machine learning-based image classifier, and sends the resulting metadata back into the pipeline for integration with other components. Utilizing PyTorch for image classification, RabbitMQ for message handling, and Docker for deployment, our module ensures high performance and scalability. The system is capable of handling diverse image types and provides a structured approach to managing visual content. This project showcases expertise in software engineering and machine learning, leveraging cutting-edge tools to automate and optimize the Navy's content management processes.
Community Benefit
This project will improve the United States Navy's ability to manage and process their critical training materials and improving operational efficiency. By streamlining the handling of documents and images it allows faster and more reliable access to essential information which benefits the Navy greatly.
