Overview

The Weasel Welcome App is a mobile app created for Shaw Air Force Base. The designed application is able to support thousands of users at a time and provides access to various on-base service departments. Users will be able to check-in to waiting queues and receive a notification when they are able to be serviced. The app also incorporates a system that sends users directions on how to locate a given service.

Community Benefit:  Users will have a more positive experience when waiting in line. They can check in ahead of time and become notified when vendors are ready to service them. This prevents the over-crowing of spaces and eliminates the need to stand in a long line, which is especially significant in the current time of social distancing.
