Overview
The Rakkasans mobile application is the first successful implementation of a social media app for soldiers. RAKAPP allows individuals within the 101st Airborne Division to connect with one another, via integrated messaging and forum systems. The application additionally serves as an information base and holds a plethora of resources pertaining to the brigade.
Community Benefit: RAKAPP will revolutionize the way the 101st Airborne Division operates in terms of communication. All division members will feel connected within a supportive community. The implemented centralized information system grants easy access to resources, resulting in many opportunities for soldiers to grow and learn.
