Overview

The City of Fort Lauderdale is looking to design workforce housing units that comply with all relevant building codes. The workforce housing units are three stories high and serve as multi-family apartments. The project goal is to provide the community with as many workforce housing units as possible. In this case, the design team proposed 108 units.

Community Benefit:  The proposed solution will help low-income residents save money, while also creating and providing access to better jobs. The community will benefit greatly from this development, as it will reduce the travel time for workers in the surrounding areas and lower stress on our roadways.
