automated performace evaluation in training activities
Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Overview
The Automated Performance Evaluation project consists of a heart rate, blood pressure, and galvanic skin response sensor built into a glove that can be detected by the HoloLens 2. The glove and the HoloLens communicate via Bluetooth to transmit user data back and forth. This haptic glove will improve the accuracy of assessing a user’s ability to cope with a situation and perform a given task.
Community Benefit: We are bringing about the next generation of performance tracking in tangible and intangible realities, with the ability to measure reactive stimuli in real-time using the performance glove. This will dramatically increase assessment accuracy amongst individuals training under stressful environments, where stimuli may not be directly observable.
