Garbage Collector Robot

Abstract

Our project, the Garbage Collector Robot, is based on the need to keep the earth clean. It tackles the issue of increasing waste with people refusing to dispose of it properly. Our robot, which picks up trash, is the size of a dog and can pick up bigger pieces of trash like bottles and cans. It can be used in a variety of environments and situations, such as cleaning up after a music festival with the robots making it much easier and faster for the workers. This helps reduce the waste that is polluting our environment and leaves a much smaller carbon footprint. Our robot is different from other products because of its size and capacity. There are cleaning robots like the iRobot which focuses on mimicking a vacuum. Because it does this, it cannot pickup bigger pieces of trash like napkins and plastic. The size of the robot could also be expanded for bigger cleanup jobs like construction sites. Bigger robots could clear all the debris and garbage that comes with construction. This project overall makes life easier while making the world cleaner.
