Doctor of Philosophy with Major in Computer Science
The PhD in Computer Science program (PhD CS) prepares students for academic careers in higher education, for careers as research scientists at high-tech companies and research labs, and senior positions in computer science related fields. Topics of study include software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and cryptography, machine learning and data analytics, spatial database and data mining, computer networking, cloud computing, Internet of Things and more. The program can be completed on campus or fully online.
