FAU Graduate Student received the Leidos Scholarship for AI/ML Advancement from USGIF

Joseph Gyegyiri, a current Master student in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geomatics Engineering at FAU, received the 2023-2024  Leidos Scholarship for AI/ML Advancement from the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF). USGIF is the only organization dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and building a stronger community of interest across industry, academia, government, professional organizations and individual stakeholders..

The Leidos scholarship is a prestigious award worth $10,000 which is given to one masters or Ph.D. student who uses artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, or machine learning for geospatial research under the guidance of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation.
