CEGE Graduate Students Received Prestigious Awards

Three CEGE graduate students received prestigious international awards from the Air and Waste Management Association. The awards recognize their academic excellence, professionalism, and research contributions. All three student are from Dr. Lashaki's research group. Congratulations on the awards to Dr. Lashaki and the three students below!

 

• Brandyn Nutter received the Waste Management Research Scholarship ($2,000). He is a PhD candidate in Transportation and Environmental Engineering under Dr. Lashaki's supervision.

• Laura Rojas received the Air Pollution Control and Waste Minimization Research Scholarship ($2,000). She is completing her thesis-based MS studies in Civil Engineering (Water Resources and Environmental Engineering concentration area) under Dr. Lashaki's supervision.

• Dung Lam received the Second-Place Master’s Thesis Award ($300). She completed her thesis-based MS studies in Civil Engineering (Water Resources and Environmental Engineering concentration area) under Dr. Lashaki's supervision in spring 2023.
