What is biomedical engineering - bio robotics track About?

This exciting track offers a balanced combination of science and engineering courses where biology meets robotics. The advanced science courses focus on genetics, chemistry, neuroscience, and neuroengineering, while engineering courses cover biomechanics, controls, programming, signal processing, and robotics. The robotics courses will have laboratory elements associated with them that will introduce students to hands-on experience with robotics. The track will be completed with an extensive two-semester multidisciplinary design project. Graduates of this track will have the opportunity to work in the growing field of medical robotics but can also find jobs in any company that uses robotics technology. The track offers a 4+1 option for a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The combined knowledge of robotics and AI will be invaluable, and FAU is one of the few universities that offer this track.
