How can Peer Mentors play a pivotal role in positively impacting student success and the student experience using the Appreciative Advising framework? University of Cincinnati Cooperative Education (Co-op) Peer Mentors support students in their co-op professional preparation, job search process, and career discernment to mitigate equity gaps, as well as serve as a liaison to campus resources, involvements, and experiential learning opportunities. Join this dynamic session to gain tangible strategies and examples on how a Co-op Peer Mentor applies learnings from UC’s Appreciative Mentorship course to coach students on how to make the most of their professional and curricular pathways.
