College students’ expectations are changing and like many other institutions, our continued challenge at Pine Technical & Community College (PTCC) is to meet students where they are, help students manage and raise their expectations, and be true to our mission of making college possible for those starting out or starting over. Through the application of the Appreciative Education framework, PTCC has reevaluated our college processes to determine whether they are actually student-focused and resulting in the desired institutional outcomes.
