The Virtual Appreciative Education Conference brings the community of Appreciative Educators together to share knowledge, strategies, and tools about applying Appreciative Education in educational settings.
Presentations will feature innovative practices and research for PreK-12 and higher education settings.

Call for Proposals - Due July 2, 2025
The Office of Appreciative Education at Florida Atlantic University is accepting interactive concurrent session proposals for the 2026 Virtual Appreciative Education Conference III that will be held January 30, 2026.
Purpose: Concurrent sessions will feature presenters who share knowledge, strategies, and tools in applying Appreciative Education in educational settings.
Attendees: Attendees will include higher education faculty, staff, and administrators; PreK-12 teachers and administrators; and community leaders.
Engagement: The concurrent sessions are 50-minutes in length, and accepted Innovative Practice proposals will explicitly highlight plans for engaging the virtual audience.

Topics
- Appreciative Advising, Coaching, & Mentoring: focuses on the one-on-one relationship built with students.
- Appreciative Administration: entails aspects of being a supervisor or administrator who employs an Appreciative Approach.
- Appreciative Instruction: relates to how the Appreciative Education framework is applied within classroom settings.
- Appreciative Campus: emphasizes how the framework is being adopted campus-wide by colleges, universities, and/or PreK-12 institutions.
- Appreciative Inquiry: how the Appreciative Inquiry framework is being implemented to improve engagement and organizational culture.

Technology requirements: All sessions will take place on the Zoom platform. Many concurrent sessions will have an interactive component, therefore access to a camera and microphone is preferred.
Recording: Sessions for this conference are live and will not be recorded.
Refunds and Transfers: Registration refunds (full price minus a $15 processing fee) will be allowed until January 7, 2026. After January 7, 2026, refunds will not be granted; however, registration is transferrable to another participant to attend the 2026 Appreciative Education Conference.
