“Thank you for the recording. Lauren was fantastic...she made a perfect video for M-- and sent us all of the power point slides that she has been working with him up until now. I just want to let you know that we are working on this everyday with him and he's cooperating and responding just like he does with Lauren. We decided that we would give him the video with Lauren and her voice to him at the end after the other videos because it seems to calm him down and keep him a little longer. “We just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the therapy program this past semester. It was our first time at the Clinic. Mrs. Steele and our student therapist, Ana have gone above and beyond. They are both so personable, supportive, and good at what they do.
Thank you for all you do for our children. When we have spent so much of our resources on our child's language issues, programs like the FAU Clinic give hope that we can continue therapy. This is especially important for children like Sam who, according to some research, have a "poor prognosis" for his future, due to his severe receptive/expressive language disorder.

"Hi hi! We hope you’re enjoying your summer before the semester gets going. Wanted to let you know A-- definitely misses you — you made such an impression on him. He’s got his toy phone right now, playing, and saying “bring bring A-- speaking” — when we ask who he’s speaking too, he says “Miss Melissa” — it’s beyond sweet and we love that it’s someone outside of family that he’s thinking about. You’ve brought out so much of his personality in this last year — he has a sense of humor and his own opinions — we could not be more grateful to you and the progress you helped him achieve."
