The Norwalk Virus
Food-borne illness outbreaks occurs most often in large group
gatherings. A good example of this occurs on cruise ships:
Norwalk Virus:
virus that effected most ships
causes 1 to 2 days of stomach pain, nausea and diarrhea
virus can be passed from person to person through food, liquid or touch
heavy doses of chlorine is being used to clean the ships hit by the virus.
