Employer Career Fair / Event Attendance and Payment Policies
Career Event Cancellations, No Shows, Refunds and Payment Policies
When there is a cost for employers to participate, payment must be received prior to the event date in order for an employer to attend.
Any cancellations and/or refund requests must be submitted in writing to recruit@fau.edu no later than two weeks prior to the event.
No cancellations will be accepted after the deadline. Registered organizations who fail to show up at the event will not receive a refund.
Outstanding bills from previous events will preclude registration for subsequent events hosted by the FAU Career Center.
Non-Profit/Government Employers
Employers who registered as a Non-Profit or Government organization are required to submit a copy of their Consumer's Certificate of Exemption stating that they are a verified tax-exempt entity, such as a government agency or a 501 (c) (3) organization to recruit@fau.edu. If the Career Center does not receive the documentation within 2 weeks we will not be able to approve the registration as a non-profit/government entity and will add 7% tax to the total registration cost.
Filming At Career Events
Filming of any kind is not permitted by employers at Florida Atlantic University Career Fairs and/or events.
Recruiters may not sell their products/services or solicit future purchases of products/services.
