Owls-on-the-Job Shadow Program
Give Back, Gain Insights, and Shape Future Talent
The Owls-on-the-Job Shadow Program is designed for students to participate in either a one or two-day job shadowing experience or a week-long externship (if in person) or one-to-two hours long (if virtual) during Winter Break and/or Spring Break to gain more insight into a field of interest. This short-term job shadowing program allows you to:
- Give back to the community by sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of professionals
- Gain insights into the perspectives and ideas of our students, who can bring fresh thinking and new approaches to your organization
- Shape future talent by providing guidance and mentorship to students who are eager to learn and grow
By participating in the Owls on the Job shadowing program, you can:
- Raise your company profile among our students and faculty
- Identify potential interns or full-time employees who have already demonstrated an interest in your industry or company
- Enhance your company's recruitment and retention strategies by building relationships with our students and fostering a pipeline of talented professionals
