Even to this day, many fighters incorporate this style amongst their fighting arsenal due to its effectiveness as it can be mixed with any fighting style that focuses on striking. Jiu Jitsu is a Cumulative art, or a style that includes influences from many different styles and places. While mostly a grappling style, Jiu Jitsu contains many instances of striking techniques for self defense.

Restorative Yoga:

This relaxing and meditative class is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. In restorative yoga, students will allow their breath to travel and unblock certain parts of the body that are under stress and tension. Poses are held for about 2-5 minutes depending on the posture, in order to find a deep stretch. This class uses a variety of props, such as block and straps, to achieve a gentle stillness in each pose. All levels welcome!

Gentle Yoga focuses on a slow and steady pace. This class emphasizes the use of props and alignment to create a steady foundation. Gain an inner awareness of your body and how it moves through both seated and standing poses, while practicing mindful breathing and meditation.

All Levels Yoga:

All Levels Yoga takes students from movement to movement at a slower to moderate pace. This class is more physically demanding than Gentle Yoga, but allots more time to cuing and breaking down postures than Power Yoga. This relaxing and challenging workout is a combination of breathing, muscular strength and endurance, balance, coordination and other stress-management techniques.

Power Yoga:

Power Yoga is for those who want to incorporate more strength and endurance-based work into their flow. This class is similar to All Levels Yoga but will typically move at a quicker pace from movement to movement, or hold longer more challenging poses throughout the class. Designed for a more experienced participant, or someone who is looking to take their yoga practice to the next level.

*** Note: All difficulty levels are accommodating to beginners and all other levels. Interpretations of each style will differ between teacher to teacher, while keeping integrity to their specified difficulty level.
