MLK Day of Service

Students can volunteer their time, give back locally, and support a worthy cause.  MLK Day of Service will assist The Kidney Pump, a 5K run in Abacoa town center.  This race supports the National Kidney Foundation of Florida.

Commemorate the day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day and watch the Oscar winning award motion picture, “Selma.”

MLK Diversity Address

In honor and celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs presents the 2016 MLK Diversity Address, “Advancing the Dream Together.” The goal is to examine social justice issues that impact our daily lives and to promote continuing efforts to advance “the dream” collectively and bridge the gaps of inequality. Keynote speaker Tim Wise will focus on dismantling years of inequalities and creating change in our communities. Panel Discussion and reception following the address.
