postdoctoral fellow, recently led the neuroscience core course for the annual
American Association of University Women Tech Trek
virtual summer camp. The camp is a week-long, highly competitive, hands-on, problem solving program designed for middle school girls who have demonstrated academic excellence.
This year's activities included a dissection of a sheep brain and comparative anatomy; constructing LED and rope neuron to demonstrate neurotransmission and how neurons use electricity and chemicals in order to communicate, and other STEM-focused experiences. Learn More.
