Jeffrey P. Feingold, DDS, MSD, of Delray Beach, is the founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of MCNA Dental Plans, the largest privately held managed dental care insurance company in the country. Based out of corporate offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and a regional office in San Antonio, TX, MCNA provides comprehensive administration of dental benefits for Medicaid and CHIP programs across the country. MCNA also has extensive experience providing adult benefits to Medicaid, Medicare, Long Term Care, Nursing Home Diversion, and Dual Eligible enrollees through contracts with medical health plans.
Dr. Feingold founded the Dentaland Organization in 1975, which was one of the first private practices in Florida to include multiple comprehensive dental health care facilities offering multi-specialty dental care with a general dental component.
Dr. Feingold believes strongly in service to his community. In June 2019, Dr. Feingold received an appointment from President Donald J. Trump to serve a five-year term on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. He is also currently serving his second term as a member of the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Board of Trustees, appointed by former Florida Governor Rick Scott, and as an appointed member of the UT Health Science Center Development Board for the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
For over a decade, he has been a leader at both state and national levels. He currently serves as the Florida Chair and as a national board member for the Republican Jewish Coalition. He is also the Chairman of the Jewish Leadership Council of the Republican Party of Florida.
Dr. Feingold and his wife, Barbara, believe deeply in philanthropy and volunteerism in the Jewish community and beyond. In June 2018, Dr. Feingold, his wife, and entire family personally dedicated The Dr. Jeffrey and Barbara Feingold Family Synagogue and Sefer Torah on The Mishmar Hanegev Base in The Negev, Israel. Their transformational gifts to FAU and the UTHSCSA School of Dentistry have driven the construction of innovative spaces that enrich higher education opportunities. They have been honored by new facility namings such as The Dr. Jeffrey & Barbara S. Feingold Board of Trustees Room at FAU and The Dr. Jeffrey P. & Barbara S. Feingold Atrium in the UTHSCSA Center for Oral Health Care & Research.
Dr. Feingold received his DDS degree from the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry in 1971, immediately after which he completed a prestigious residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Dr. Feingold received his MSD (Periodontology) degree and his certificate in Periodontology from the Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School. He went on to receive the distinct honor of being named a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. His work in the field of dentistry research has been published in the Journal of Periodontology.
Dr. Feingold has previously served on the NYU College of Dentistry Dean’s Advisory Board, the NYU Stern School of Business Steering Committee, and was a board and executive board member of the Tulane Associates Board. Dr. Feingold is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and other professional organizations.
